Apparently, the East Asian mixed martial arts promotion ONE Championship (ONE FC) was so impressed with its first ever grappling match, between Garry Tonon and Shinya Aoki, that it is thinking about doing another one — this time with Eddie Bravo against wrestler and Rizin mixed martial artist Kazushi Sakuraba.
Bravo told Joe Rogan on the Joe Rogan Experience that ONE FC owner Chatri Sityodtong approached him and asked if he was interested in doing the match.
Sakuraba is known as “The Gracie Hunter” for his wins over various members of the Gracie family in the early 21st century. Those who have fallen victim to him include Royler, Royce, Renzo, and Ryan. The 47-year-old Sakuraba is currently on a 5-fight losing streak.
