Dustin Poirier Injured, Forced To Withdraw From UFC 230 Co-Main Event Against Nate Diaz

A highly anticipated match between Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz is off after Poirier was reported injured, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

The fight was slated to be the co-main event at UFC 230, but both Diaz and Poirier had claimed that it was going to be the main event of the evening. Dana White subsequently denied their claim, and the matchup was never officially designated as the main event. The match was set to be Diaz’s first in two years.

The Jiu-Jitsu Times will provide updates on this story as they become available.
