The Cowboy train is going strong at welterweight, and it shows no signs of slowing down.
In the co-main event of UFC 206, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone earned himself a huge KO victory over “The Immortal” Matt Brown.
The fight was even for the most part. Cerrone utilized his high kicks to bloody the face of Brown, but “The Immortal” scored some impressive knock downs of his own.

However, just when he passed the first half of the first minute mark in round 3, Cerrone scored a huge headkick that knocked his opponent out cold. There was no need for Cowboy to go in and attempt to finish the fight. Brown was laid out flat on the mat, probably unaware of what just happened to him.
Cerrone is now 4-0 in the welterweight division and has finished all of his fights. If that isn’t a good argument to make him the next contender for the division’s title, I don’t know what is.
