2016 No-Gi Pans champion and Conor McGregor training partner Dillon Danis has been charged with disorderly conduct in connection with an alleged incident that took place over the weekend at a bar in Seaside Heights, NJ.
MMA Fighting reports that Danis “created a disturbance” at the Beachcomber Bar and Grill. The reporting officer is said to have witnessed the alleged incident, per the police summons they obtained. Per the outlet, Danis is ordered to appear in court on October 19. Further details about the alleged incident are currently sparse.
Rumors of Danis’ arrest began swirling within the MMA and BJJ community after Tom DeBlass posted a video that showed someone who appeared to be Danis being taken into custody by the police. An apparent mugshot of Danis also began making the rounds on social media.
Danis, a Bellator fighter with a 2-0 record, has only posted one cryptic tweet — a Scarface reference — following the alleged incident.
