Although it’s not official yet, a 155-lb fight between MMA superstars Georges St. Pierre and Nate Diaz is in the works for this summer’s UFC 227, which is set to take place in Los Angeles, CA. The match would serve as the co-main event for the night, as reported by the UFC Unfiltered podcast through MMA Junkie.
White also teased a fight between Alexander Gustafsson and Luke Rockhold, who are 10-4 and 6-3 in the UFC, respectively. Although the Gustafsson and Rockhold matchup wouldn’t be for the interim title, as has been rumored, White confirmed that he’s still aiming for the match to happen.
Other potential matchups on the card (which White said would all happen in a “perfect world”) include T.J. Dillashaw vs. Cody Garbrandt and Derek Brunson vs. Antonio Carlos Junior.
