The second much-hyped Third Coast Grappling event has had another shakeup in the main card, and now, Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu will be going up against Nicholas Meregali in the main event.
Cyborg will be replacing Keenan Cornelius, who was injured at Worlds in his match with Leandro Lo.
Promoter Ryan McGuire told the Jiu-Jitsu Times that he’s anticipating a “fun” match between the two competitors. “Meregali said he wants to talk a lot of sh*t,” he said.
Cyborg vs. Meregali will top off a stacked card that will also feature Craig Jones, Edwin Najmi, Gianni Grippo, Gilbert Burns, and many more of today’s top jiu-jitsu athletes.
