December will see a fight that’s sure to bring the fireworks when Amanda Nunes and Cris “Cyborg” Justino duke it out at UFC 232, according to ESPN.
Both fighters are currently UFC champions: Nunes holds the bantamweight title, while Cyborg is the featherweight champion. The fight will be a contest for Cyborg’s title, which will see Nunes return to her original fight weight of 145 lbs.
Neither champion will be guaranteed an easy win. Nunes has defended her title multiple times, defeating the likes of Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate in the process. Cyborg, on the other hand, is one of the most feared women in MMA, having maintained an undefeated record for ten years.
UFC 232 will take place in Las Vegas on December 29, 2018.
