After Mackenzie Dern’s huge disparity at the UFC 224weigh ins, Amanda Cooper took to Twitter calling Dern “a disgrace to all professionals.” Considering the Cooper vs Dern bout is now essentially a “strawweight vs flyweight”, it’s no wonder Cooper is perturbed with Dern’s extra 7.4 pounds.
As a result of the missed weight, 30 percent of Dern’s purse will be awarded to Cooper, and the fight will take place at a catchweight.
