UFC Lightweight Champion “The Notorious” Conor McGregor was reportedly involved in an brawl at an Irish pub.
The brawl supposedly took place in the Black Forge, which is located in Dublin. Onlookers said the brawl involved McGregor and three other men.
According to the Daily Mail:
McGregor, 29, was seen by punters on Sunday night entering the bar before the melee erupted which involved the sports star, a young man, a man in his 50s and a fourth man.
Police in Ireland said they are aware of the allegations, but no complaints have been made with regards to the supposed fight.
It should be pointed out that, as of now, these allegations are just that — allegations. None of these reports have been confirmed as true.
If they are true, though, it could spell trouble for McGregor, as he is already in hot water for fighting outside of a state-sanctioned match. Conor recently made the serious mistake of putting his hands on a referee when he jumped the cage at a Bellator event in order to celebrate with a teammate. He was supposed to take on Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson in a title unifying match at UFC 219, but that match was cancelled due to the Bellator incident.
No news yet on when MMA fans will see Conor McGregor in the cage again.
