As any combats sports fan knows, one the biggest — or at least most hyped — fights in history went down last week when UFC Lightweight Champion “The Notorious” Conor McGregor took on undefeated multiple-time boxing champion Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match.
McGregor came up short, getting TKO’d in the tenth round.
The Notorious wasn’t proud of his performance, and he apologized to his boss, UFC President Dana White.
White, however, did not think an apology was necessary.
“Sorry?” White asked McGregor in the locker room after the fight. “Dude, I’m ecstatic. Very, very f**king badass,” he said before hugging him.
