Comeback Date Announced For Fallen Star Ronda Rousey

This week, Dana White (President of the UFC) said in a radio BigBoyTV interview that Ronda Rousey has targeted the fall to make her Octagon comeback. Originally, Rousey (who recently turned twenty-nine) had intended to return in the summer, however this is not now possible – due to her busy Hollywood filming schedule. New York’s Madison Square Garden has been touted as a possible venue for the event, although MMA will have to be made legal in the state first. Assuming this happens, it will be a huge draw.

In all likelihood, Rousey will fight whoever wins the women’s bantamweight championship match between Miesha Tate and Holly Holm, which will happen in Las Vegas on March 5. Rousey was knocked out by Holm in a stunning upset in November 2015, and has fought Tate twice — winning by submission each time.
