Combat Jiu-Jitsu (CJJ) Worlds will be closing out the year with a banger of an event that will crown a flyweight champion from a selection of competitors that includes multiple Invicta fighters and an ADCC Trials winner.
The promotion has announced that the event, which will take place in Cancun, Mexico, will be their final one of the year, following their male lightweight tournament set to happen on November 29. The flyweight championship was initially announced last month with an incomplete list of competitors, but now, CJJ has revealed even more big names in the running for the title.
The competitors for the event include Invicta FC fighters Pearl Gonzalez, Liz Tracy, Jillian Decoursey, and Jessica Delboni; 2019 World Masters champion and ADCC West Coast Trials winner Nikki Sullivan; EBI 12 veterans Rachael Cummins and Gabby Romero; and brown belt British Nationals open weight champion Nina Navid.
In addition, there will be two male superfights: one between Dan Martinez and Kyle Boehm, and one between Job Blank and Hunter Colvin.
The winner of the tournament will be named the first CJJ Worlds Flyweight Champion, as a male flyweight tournament has not been announced.
The CJJ Worlds: The Flyweights will take place on Sunday, December 20 and can be streamed live on UFC FightPass.
