Some splendid news for MMA fans was posted on Twitter yesterday morning on Twitter: Junior Cigano tweeted that he is making a speedy recovery from surgery to his left knee and should return to action soon. “Folks, my knee is great, nearly 100%. Now I just have to get my confidence back and I’ll be back better than ever. Thanks for the positive energy!” said the UFC heavyweight champion.
Cigano, who went under the knife last December 7, further stated that his bags are packed for Las Vegas, where he will have a front-row seat to watch the heavyweight showdown between Brock Lesnar and Alistair Overeem at UFC 141. The winner of the fight should be the challenger to the Brazilian’s throne.
