After being knocked out by Uriah Hall at the end of 2013, Leben had announced his retirement. Nonetheless, he remains a popular figure with fans, even though he has been beaten in his last four contests. Leben has fight ending power in both hands, and boasts wins over names such as Patrick Cote, Yoshihiro Akiyama and Wanderlei Silva. Since 2004, he has only fought for UFC promotions.
Thirty-five year old Leben resides in San Diego. Recently, he was released after admitting to several charges relating to a summer break in, at a flat he used to share with his ex wife. In January 2016, he released his autobiography, which catalogs his career in MMA and his battles with drug addiction.
