MMA fans may see the return of former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez this summer or fall. Best of all, when they see him, he could once again have the chance to be the division’s champion when he takes on reigning kingpin, Stipe Miocic.
Nothing has been confirmed yet obviously, but bjpenn.com journalist Chris Taylor broke the news on his Twitter earlier today.
I'm told that the UFC is aiming to have former champ @cainmma be the next man to challenge @stipemiocicufc. Either late summer or early fall

Cain’s last fight was against Travis Browne, whom he defeated via first-round TKO last year at UFC 200.
Stipe is riding a 5-fight KO streak. In fact, his most recent win is over another former heavyweight champion, Junior dos Santos, whom he defeated in only one round.
