The self-proclaimed G in a gi has signed with Bellator MMA.
Ralek Gracie, 31, confirmed to ESPN that he signed with the UFC’s largest rival. He is expected to make his debut early next year.
“I’ve always fought MMA. I never really competed in jiu-jitsu,” Gracie said. “I was always attracted to more of a real fight. I think people still want to know what this original style of jiu-jitsu can do in modern MMA. I’m into that, and I’m into being a catalyst in that story.”
Ralek is the son of the legendary Rorion Gracie and nephew of UFC hall of famer, Royce Gracie. He holds a 3-0 MMA record.
