According to a Facebook post put up only minutes ago, 21-year-old Danaher Death Squad member and EBI Middleweight Champion Gordon Ryan will be taking on Felipe “Preguica” Pena on December 17 at Solana Beach, California’s Studio 540.
According to Ryan’s post, the match will be no-gi, no-time-limit, and submission-only. It was sponsored by Mo Jassim.

Felipe Pena is a black belt under Marcelo Azevedo. Though stripped of his 2014 World championship, he holds numerous other titles in the Pan-Ams, Brazilian Nationals, and others.
Gordon Ryan is a black belt under Garry Tonon, and has been winning big-name championships since he was a purple belt. In 2015 he won the World No-Gi Championship at brown belt. In 2016 he became the Grappling Industries Tournament Champion.
A month after his match against Pena, Gordon Ryan will be returning to Studio 540 to take on Michael Perez.
