It’s on, ladies and gents! Two of the hardest-hitting fighters in the sport are going at it at the UFC’s debut event in the Big Apple, UFC 205 – at least on paper.
Those two fighters are, of course, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and former Welterweight Champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler.
Cowboy – who recently moved up to welterweight – is riding a three-fight win streak in his new division and coming off of a brutal, TKO victory over Rick Story.

Lawler has not been so lucky, losing his welterweight title in a first-round, knockout loss to Tyron Woodley.
“Ruthless,” however, has put on some of the most exciting – and bloodiest – matches in the welterweight division . . .

. . . and when he and Cerrone throw down, it will no doubt be one of the most exciting fights in MMA history.
UFC 205 is set to go down at Madison Square Garden on November 12. Those who can’t make it to New York can still watch the event live on pay-per-view.
