José Corrêa Gymnasium, in Barueri, hosted this Saturday the adult black belt divisions of the 2019 Brazilian National Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
In the men’s absolute, Nicholas Meregali (Alliance) and Rudson Mateus (CTA) earned spots in the final, with R$ 10,000 on the line. Bia Mesquita (Gracie Humaitá) and Sabatha Lais (Ryan Gracie) will fight for the same amount in the women’s final.
Besides the absolute, the men’s divisions advanced until the quarterfinals, whereas the women’s divisions saw their finals defined.
