Not many amateur MMA fighters get to train with top UFC contenders, but then there’s Bo Nickal.
Nickal posted a photo on Instagram with American Top Team teammates Jorge Masvidal and Mateusz Gamrot, captioned, “Great training with @gamebredfighter @mateusz_gamrot love learning from them.”
Masvidal has sung praise of Nickal’s grappling in the past, “I can’t do nothing to that dude in wrestling, man… That’s the guy to look out for. Bo’s a stud.”
It seems that his striking will definitely be sharpened up for his November 5th amateur bout, and we’ll see what his strategy will be.
On one hand, everyone knows he could come out and dominate with his grappling. On the other, he may consider testing out his striking, and depending on where how comfortable he’s feeling with it, he might even want to show off.
He’ll be returning to the MMA arena to fight against Billy Good at Island Fights 70. It will be available for streaming on FiteTV.
