How confident would you have to be to bet a BJJ black belt that they couldn’t sweep you seven times in ten minutes?
BJJ blue belt and Navy SEAL JP Dinnell was apparently very confident — so much so, in fact, that he was willing to stake $2,500 on his bet that black belt and Origin USA founder Pete Roberts wouldn’t be able to either sweep him seven times in total or just once over his head in the span of ten minutes.
As if the financial pressure wasn’t enough, the challenge was to be done in the presence of fellow Navy SEAL and BJJ black belt Jocko Willink himself. Could Dinnell beat the odds and win the bet? Or would Roberts come away victorious?
Watch the challenge for yourself, but be warned: it’s a nail-biter.
