Last Saturday was one of double gold for Fellipe Andrew, who swept his competition at the Mexico City Open.
To secure the gold medal in the absolute division, he had to beat Sérgio da Silva (Brasa/99), so Andrew put his open guard trap to use. With strong grips and a foot on his opponent’s bicep, Andrew shoots his legs like a rubber band, quickly doing a triangle. After adjusting, the black-belt under Rodrigo Cavaca applied pressure and finished just over one minute in.
