Up until now, black belts like Marcelino Freitas, Josef Manuel, Emerson Souza, Ryan Hall, James Harbison, Gustavo Carpio and Rodrigo Teixeira, João Cunha, Steve Kim, Carlos Rodriguez, Kevin Landry, Julio Cruz and Carlos Terrinha have all guaranteed their places in the IBJJF competition.
