After rescheduling the camps due to Covid-19, it’s been confirmed that all of the postponed camps are now going ahead. That includes Castle Camp Italy, which takes place next month from Oct. 19-23. BJJ Globetrotters is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu camp where you can meet other like-minded individuals while training BJJ and take in the scenic views of your surroundings.
BJJ Globetrotters usually takes place a few times a year, every year, in different countries. Globetrotter camps are an experience to meet friendly like-minded people from all over the world and share your skills with one another while essentially being on holiday, which can lead to long-lasting friendships. You can train as much or as little as you like, and the same goes for social activities – your time is your own.
Each camp is different. However the Castle Camp Italy is often their most luxurious, offering a private chef, beautiful architectural surroundings, jam-packed with Jiu Jitsu, and featuring guests of all different ranks and skill levels literally staying in a castle. Castle Camp Italy appears to be the perfect balance of luxurious and laid back.
The package for Castle Camp Italy includes airport transfers, accommodation, food and drink, and all of the activities that have been planned for the duration of your stay… plus more! Regardless of COVID-19, the camp in Italy is fully planned to go ahead and tickets are still available just like the other camps (but there’s only four tickets left now). Grab your ticket here

Luxury To Expect
The Globetrotter page states: “Candlelit open mats in the gently shifting shadows of a 1000-year-old altar. Cosy evening dinners under the starry sky. And an entire ancient castle all to ourselves, with private staff on hand to take care of our every need. The most exclusive and luxurious of our camps is back, and all it’s waiting for is for you to come and join us!”
For this camp, you will have the entire castle to yourselves. Mats will be laid down outside of the castle viewing out onto the scenic landscape and Italian architecture. There is also a 22m open-air swimming pool at the castle which is available for guests. Then you can head to the dining hall in the evening where you can relax and enjoy some Italian food and wine after training.
Due to the exclusive nature of this historic building, the numbers for this camp will be strictly limited to a total of 24 guests.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served every day in the dining area of the castle, and will all be sourced using fresh ingredients procured locally and prepared by the private chef on site. Every evening, there will also be a different, special theme for the dinner.
At all times throughout the camp, there will be a private staff of four people ready to help you out with anything you might need. Laundry service is also available to don’t worry about how you’re going to wash your Gi’s and No-Gi training gear.
Due to the uniquely small size of this camp, the attentiveness of instructors is a lot more focused on individual goals and aims of participants, making the coaching a lot more intimate. The two high-level coaches that will be teaching at the camp will be Globetrotters founder Christian Graugart and Priit Mihkelson.
If this sounds like something you would be up for, book it before it’s too late and all the spaces are taken!
Other Camps
BJJ Globetrotters other camps are still going ahead, and there’s also a camp before the Castle Italy taking place in Poland on Oct. 14-18 called the “Zen Camp” with 10 slots still available.
