ADCC gold medalist and MMA fighter Rodolfo Vieira has signed with the UFC. According to a tweet from journalist Josh Gross of The Athletic, the Brazilian phenom will hope to continue his undefeated MMA career in the UFC octagon on August 10, against Oskar Piechota in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Vieira has racked up an impressive array of BJJ accolades during his grappling career, ranging from multiple IBJJF World titles, Abu Dhabi championships and ADCC gold in 2015. Joining American Top Team in 2015 to transition into MMA, “The Black Belt Hunter” has a record of 5-0 since his first professional fight in 2017.
Piechota is coming into the fight off of a loss to Gerald Meerschaert via RNC in round two last year. He currently sits at 11-1.
