BJJ Brown Belt Challenges Random Guy for $20: Ends Up Getting Submitted

When things don’t go as expected. BJJ Brown belt from Korea challenged Case Bradford to a grappling match saying he’d submit him in under 2 minutes. The challenge itself happened on Venice Beach. What this Brown Belt didn’t know is that Bradford wrestled in high school, and came up to blue belt at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 7 years ago. That’s something that can disrupt his plans a bit. Although it is obvious that Bradford is not skilled in Jiu-Jitsu, this BJJ Brown Belt made a lot of unnecessary mistakes, and the biggest problem turns out to be that he doesn’t actually know how to finish the triangle. Every time Bradford ended up in a situation where BrownBelt submitted him, he was unable to do so because he lacked control of Bradford’s head, posture, and the change of angle which is an essential part of any good triangle. The fight ended with Bradford submitting the Korean Brown belt in under two minutes. Bradford explained the situation together with the video he posted. “Earlier this summer I was challenged on Santa Monica beach to roll jiu jitsu by a random man visiting Los Angeles from South Korea, claiming to be a brown belt. He offered me a $20 prize if I could survive a 2-minute roll without being choked or submitted. not only did I survive, but I turned the tables and choked him out seconds before the 2-minute mark. I trained up to a blue belt level in Gracie Jiu Jitsu 7 years ago and have not rolled since. Really fun rolling again! Love jiu-jitsu i also wrestled in high school I know he did not tap to the choke, my figure four body lock must have been really tight. many viewers are commenting on his belt status. i have rolled against Purple and Brown belts before and never had any chance of winning… Seems like there are many variables that go into belt status worldwide. – Gi vs No-Gi – Competition vs Casual – Size and Athleticism play a role as wel l ” The post BJJ Brown Belt Challenges Random Guy for $20: Ends Up Getting Submitted appeared first on BJJ World .
