Benson Henderson Vs. Marcio Andre Announced As Fight 2 Win 134 Main Event

Fight 2 Win is kicking off 2020 with a bang. For their 134th event, set to take place in January, the promotion will be putting former UFC champion Benson Henderson up against 2016 No-Gi World Champion Marcio Andre.

This won’t be the first time that either competitor has tested their skills on the F2W stage. Andre has a 2-1 record for the promotion, earning an impressive win over Kennedy Maciel by referee decision back at Fight 2 Win 118. Andre’s lengthy jiu-jitsu resume also includes three black belt wins at Euros and a 2016 gold medal at the UAEJJF Abu Dhabi World Pro.

Henderson, who now fights for Bellator, is best known for his accomplishments in MMA (which include wins over Donald Cerrone, Nate Diaz, and Frankie Edgar) but also has a noteworthy grappling record. He won bronze as a black belt at the 2014 IBJJF No-Gi World Championship, has competed at Polaris, and his multiple matches for Fight 2 Win include a victory over AJ Agazarm in the gi.

Whether what draws you to the match is your love for Henderson, Andre, or the prospect of them battling it out on the F2W stage, you won’t want to miss F2W 134, which will stream live from Scottsdale, Arizona, on January 24 on FloGrappling!
