Fight 2 Win favorites Talita Alencar and Catherine Perret will be returning to the stage this Friday, and their match will be one of champ vs. champ.
Alencar, the F2W flyweight champion in both gi and no-gi, will have her hands full in the main event of the evening when she faces off against bantamweight no-gi champion Perret. Both athletes are also highly accomplished competitors outside of the F2W promotion, each with at least one No-Gi World Championship title among their many achievements. Alencar most recently competed for the promotion at F2W 118, where she claimed her gi title after besting Amanda Monteiro. Perret, however, is not to be underestimated. She earned her title after submitting Ffion Davies back at F2W 114. Both competitors are sure to walk on the stage with a lot of respect for each other, knowing the damage that could ensue from just one wrong move.
Also on the card will be a co-main event match for the Masters Middleweight title, which will be between Tac Team’s Mark Vivies and Soul Fighters’ Andre Maneco Leite. Be on the lookout, too, for a match between BJJ legend Hanette Staack and Jessica Flowers, which will take place right after Dante Leon faces Isaque Bahiense.
Check out the preview for the event below, and make sure you’re watching on FloGrappling when these matches and many more go down at Fight 2 Win 129 in Chicago this Friday, October 26!
