With two stellar performances, three-time champions Romulo Barral and Braulio Estima made sure the medium-heavyweight gold goes to Gracie Barra.

Romulo, now in the four-time club, passed Guto Campos’s guard twice in the semi, and gave him zero space to guarantee a spot in the final. Soon after, on mat 2, Braulio Estima fought even better against André Galvão. Braulio swept right up front, then held tight against the Atos master’s attempts, and finally took his back to arrive at a 6-2 score.

Braulio and Romulo even talked about fighting, but in the end they decided the title should go peacefully to Barral.

Quarterfinals:

Guto Campos swept Tarsis Humphreys, 4-2
Romulo Barral defeated Kleber “Buiú” Paulino

André Galvão choked Dimitrius Souza at 7min24s
