Augusto Tanquinho Mendes Out Of Sunday’s UFC Event Due To Injury

Just days after signing a contract with the UFC to fight Charles Rosa, Augusto Mendes suffers injury moments after signing UFC deal, out of Sunday’s card in Boston. Mendes suffered a rib injury and whether or not he will get another shot in the promotion is up in the air right now. Kyle Bochniak, a fighter who has competed in the Classic Sports & Entertainment promotion, has been tapped as a replacement for Mendes. Bochniak is an undefeated fighter and he will prove to be a stern challenge for Rosa, who himself has only won just one of three fights under the UFC banner. Unfortunately an injury has cost Augusto Mendes his shot at the big times right now, but with that comes a huge opportunity for Kyle Bochniak and whether or not Bochniak can take advantage and pull out a win will have to be seen, which is another great reason to watch UFC Fight Night 81 this Sunday Night.
