Ivaniel Oliveira, a black belt from Manaus produced by Carioca Team, has spent nearly a year living in Rio de Janeiro, where he trains at the academy of Professor Cézar “Casquinha” Guimarães, but has his bags packed for a move to São Paulo, where he will train at team Atos.
The roosterweight was invited to join the group by Gilbert “Durinho” and Ramon Lemos, the leader of Atos JJ.
“As soon as Durinho arrives from the USA we’ll head to Rio Claro, where I’ll stay at the team’s headquarters. There I’ll prepare for the upcoming championships,” says the fighter, who admittedly has his eye on three-time world champion Bruno Malfacine.
Cristiano Carioca, Ivaniel’s master in Manaus, is in full support of the move. The latest integrant of team Aots also thanks his teammates Casquinha and Ligeirinho, who provided their full support during his time in Rio de Janeiro.
