The IBJJF held the first ever Atlanta Pro championship this Saturday, April 30.
João Miyao, Otavio Sousa, Vitor Oliveira and Leonardo Nogueira walked away with the biggest prizes in the adult black belt division.
In the featherweight, João Miyao beat Bruno Frazzatto for the title and the $4,000 prize.
The middleweight gold medal went to Otavio Sousa, after an armbar finish on Jaime Canuto.
Vitor Oliveira beat Murilo Santana for the heavyweight title while Leonardo Nogueira beat Mahamed Aly by one advantage for the ultra-heavy gld medal.
In the teams’ competition, results were:
