Ashton Kutcher On Jiu-Jitsu
Ashton Kutcher first discovered Jiu-Jitsu while he was in Brazil and shooting an ad campaign. He started doing Jiu-Jitsu because his security guards told him it would be a great alternative to his morning runs. Kutcher participated in wrestling while he was in high school, so he figured jiu-jitsu would be right up his alley. After he tried the sport once, he instantly got hooked to it and has been practicing it ever since.
When Kutcher was asked about how he felt about winning. He responded by saying he would double down on his training. He stated even though he may lose, he would not lose in that way again. Additionally, Kutcher also stated that even though he does not get a lot of joy out of winning, losing is something he hates.
Kutcher is very committed to his training these days. He also stated a lot of elbows and kicks people see in films are fake, and it is not real jiu-jitsu. Furthermore, Kutcher has given advice on how to succeed in this sport. He stated using the ground as an equalizing force will allow you to take a down an opponent that is stronger and bigger.
Jiu-Jitsu is a sport that was designed for the undergo. It is also one that Kutcher loves to play. Kutcher even managed to put a 250 pound-man, who was a former Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion and an eight-degree red and black belt, into a chokehold while demonstrating his Jiu-Jitsu skills.
