UFC Strawweight Angela Magana has been released from the UFC. This is according to a tweet Magana posted just hours ago:
I immediately asked for a rematch with #ufc and they have released me after dropping 3 losses in a row. I'm thankful for the opportunities afforded to me through my journey with @ufc and am currently headed to the gym to train for my next win. #yourmajesty

Magana is 11-9 in MMA and is riding a five-fight losing streak. She has lost all three of her fights in the UFC and was finished in her last two fights.
