Once again doping charges are haunting former UFC champion Anderson Silva.
The athlete once again tested positive for PEDs, this time on a sampling made on January 31, right after his UFC 183 main event against Nick Diaz.
Anderson had already tested positive on January 9 for drostanolone and androsterone.
The athlete and his team, after the announcement of the Nevada Athletic Commission, confirmed the request for the counter proof, where a second urine sample taken on the same day would be tested.
Anderson had made another collection on January 19 that came out negative.
Now, with this test done after the match, Anderson’s situation gets trickier.
He faces close to nine months of suspension, as well as fine and having his victory over Nick Diaz annulled.
