Anderson Silva‘s career has been going downhill since his he was dethroned as the UFC Middleweight Champion back in 2013, when Chris Weidman pulled off what had to have been one of the greatest upsets (if not the greatest upset) in MMA history.
Sadly, things got even worse for The Spider last week, when he failed a drug test for his upcoming fight in Shanghai against Kelvin Gastelum.
Silva, however, is staying strong. The 42-year-old former champion issued a statement on Twitter, saying that, while he was saddened by what happened to him, he would “not give up, much less stop doing” what he loves.
