It’s been over eight months since UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor fought in his own weight class, and one man sick of waiting is the man holding the division’s interim title, Jose Aldo.
Last Sunday, the former featherweight champion and BJJ black belt tweeted that Conor should fight him at UFC 205 “or drop the belt.” He ended his tweet with the hashtag #hitandrun.
Where you at @TheNotoriousMMA? Come back down and I'll see you at UFC205 or drop the belt! #hitandrun

It should come as no surprise that Aldo is eager to give the brash Irishman his second UFC loss. After all, not only did Conor snap Jose’s 18-fight win streak and 9-fight title defense run, he did it in a mere 13 seconds.
Since winning the featherweight strap at UFC 194, Conor has been absent from his division, challenging the likes of former lightweight kingpin, Rafael dos Anjos and the man who dealt him his first UFC loss, Nate Diaz. There were even rumors of him boxing Floyd Mayweather!
How do you see this rematch playing out? Was Aldo’s 13-second win a fluke, or is Conor just way out of league?
