2014 No-Gi World Champion AJ Agazarm will be fighting in his next Bellator match in July, he confirmed via text with the Jiu-Jitsu Times.
According to Agazarm, his July 12 fight will take place at 155 lbs against Jacob Landin. Landin (0-1) is a BJJ brown belt whose last fight was in 2017 for the Fury Fighting Championship.
Agazarm (0-1) has enjoyed a successful jiu-jitsu career, having won No-Gi Pans in 2013 and earning silver at ADCC in 2017. His first professional MMA fight took place for Bellator in January, where he lost via split decision to Jesse Roberts — a result that he clearly disagrees with.
“I am excited to continue my undefeated streak,” he told the Jiu-Jitsu Times.
