Garry Tonon and Davi Ramos are still gearing up to his the Fight 2 Win stage tomorrow night, but once you’ve recovered from their match, get ready for yet another big main event from the promotion just two weeks later.
On December 7, AJ Agazarm will make his return to F2W, this time against Ary Farias in the main event at F2W 133 in Fresno, CA.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Agazarm in a strictly grappling-related competition. The 2014 No-Gi World Champion hasn’t competed in jiu-jitsu since 2018, having shifted his focus to his MMA career. Now, though, he’s back in action on the mats, and he’s hungry for a challenge — F2W CEO Seth Daniels said that Agazarm had asked for “the toughest black belt in the world that [Daniels] could find.”
Daniels has certainly given Agazarm an opponent worthy of his resume in Farias. Farias, who won Worlds in both 2011 and 2016 and is also an MMA fighter, has also spent a significant amount of time away from BJJ competition. But with wins against names like Joao Miyao and Hiago George, he shouldn’t be underestimated. This will be Farias’ debut on the F2W stage, and he’ll be giving everything he has to make an impression against Agazarm.
More matches for the event will be announced as the date of the event draws closer. For now, mark your calendars for Saturday, December 7, when F2W 133 streams live on FloGrappling!
