Everyone’s favorite grappler and MMA legend AJ Agazarm will be facing his third opponent under the Bellator promotion before the end of the month. According to a report from MMA Insider, new Bellator fighter Jonathan Quiroz will make his debut against the Florida Boy on September 28 in Inglewood California.
Both fighters will be coming off of victories, Agazarm’s first win in MMA coming from a first round RNC against Jacob Landin at Bellator 224 last July and Quiroz securing a similarly quick TKO at Lights Out Xtreme Fighting 1 last May.
With a 3-3 record, Quiroz will be the most experienced MMA fighter Agazarm has faced thus far, his previous two opponents standing at 0-2 for Landin and 1-0 for Jesse Roberts as of the date of publishing. The card will be headlined by Patricio “Pittbull” Freire facing Juan Archuleta for the Bellator featherweight championship. A full breakdown of the card can be found here.
