AJ Agazarm has apologized and said that he “reacted poorly” following his loss at Bellator 243.
Agazarm lost his fight against Cris Lencioni via unanimous decision, but didn’t agree with the judges’ call. He refused to shake his opponent’s hand after the fight and later said that he planned to appeal the decision.
Now, Agazarm has apologized for his behavior and acknowledged that Lencioni won the fight in a brief, but sincere post on Instagram:
“Rewatched my fight. I hate losing & reacted poorly. I’m sorry, Chris, you won. I’ll be back better.“
Agazarm has fought for Bellator in all five of his professional MMA bouts and currently has a record of 3-2.
