If you (like many people) thought this year’s ADCC was the best one yet, good news: the people behind the grappling mega-event seem to have thought so, too, and they want more of the same the next time around.
ADCC 2019 head organizer Mo Jassim has once again been signed on to host the event after a job well done this year, according to FloGrappling. This marks the first time in the event’s history that the same promotor will be hosting the event twice.
Jassim already has big plans for the 2021 event and plans to bring the crowd and competitors an even greater spectacle than we saw this year. Putting ADCC 2019 in Anaheim, CA, with dazzling production from Fight 2 Win already made the event more accessible and spectator-friendly for thousands of fans, and Jassim has stated up-front that he plans to have the 2021 installment hosted in the USA as well. Jassim had said on social media during the day that Las Vegas would be his number-one choice, though multiple cities are being considered to host the event.
Better yet, the entire team that worked on this year’s ADCC will also be on board for the 2021 event. This means that Shawn Fowler and the Fight 2 Win crew will once again be around to ensure that the production of the event is top-tier.
With two years to go until the next ADCC and the dream team already assembled, we can expect ADCC 2021 to somehow be even more spectacular than the event we saw just over a week ago.
