The 2022/2023 season of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour kicked off in Rio de Janeiro, this last July. After three days of great action in Brazil, the show travelled north for the second leg. The city of Miami, in the United States, is the next stop.
The excitement begins this Saturday, August 27, 2022, with the experienced competitors of the Masters Divisions. The best purple belts, brown belts and black belts aged 30 years old or more will be at the Watsco Center.
His Excellency Abdulmunam Al Hashemi, Chairman of the AJP, sent a message to all athletes in the Masters division, which is always a source of thrills. His excellency said: “The warriors in the Masters Division have honored and carried the flag of Jiu Jitsu for years. We at the AJP feel a great level of pride to offer them the stage to perform their art. Best of luck to all athletes.”
Among the many talented athletes, we found several household names in the brackets. Competitors that for years achieved the highest praise in the AJP circuit. The list of international champions include skilled aces such as João Miyao, Osvaldo Moizinho, Leo Saggioro, Ricardo Evangelista, Nicolas Ponce, Saoud Alhammadi, among others.
