MOSCOW- Father and head coach of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov is reportedly in a coma.
He was flown to a military hospital in Moscow from his native Dagestan after suffering complications due to pneumonia, according to a report from Sports Express-Russia. There he was placed into a medically induced coma and is currently under observation.
In response to the story, several figures in the MMA world took to social media to offer their prayers of support. Notably among them were UFC President Dana White and bitter lightweight rival Connor McGregor
