Almost three years ago, Andy Knickerbocker had a heart attack. At the time, his lifestyle habits weren’t the best — his diet needed an overhaul, and he wasn’t exercising like he should. So rather than hitting up a traditional gym, he decided to try jiu-jitsu.
Nine months later, Knickerbocker, 50, is down 12 pounds and living his best and healthiest life with the help of his training at Alvarez Jiu-Jitsu. In this clip, he shares a bit about his journey.
