Ruth strives to become a complete martial artist by mixing his Greco-Roman wrestling techniques with strikes and throws from other styles. He incorporated BJJ maneuvers as well as fast punches to win his first two fights in the Bellator MMA promotion.

While he might have lost to Conner “Stackboy” DeAngelis in his Pan American BJJ debut, Ruth is looking forward to honing his Brazilian jiu jitsu skills. Ruth currently holds a blue belt but hopes to further his training.
