“Jiu-jitsu is kind of like a relationship,” Nick “Chewy” Albin says at the beginning of his video. “You get into it and you’re like, ‘Oh man this is a amazing. I love this thing so much.'” However, then he warns that, as you spend more and more time with your new art, you “can do with some time away from it.”
There’s nothing wrong with wanting some time away from BJJ. However, sometimes you get stuck in a rut, and you just can’t motivate yourself to get to class.
