Male adult

Roosterweight

Most probable final: Bruno Malfacine vs. João Miyao

Without Caio Terra, it’s unlikely that any other athlete will be able to prevent a repetition of last year’s final.

Light-featherweight

Most probable final: Paulo Miyao vs. Samir Chantre

It’s an open division with the absence of Guilherme Mendes. Paulo Miyao has all the tools to repeat a spot in the final. On the other side, Samir may have an edge, but it’s going to be tough.

Featherweight

Most probable final: Rafael Mendes vs. Rubens Cobrinha

The two four-time champions are the favorites. Rafael will have to fight all the way into the semifinal, while Cobrinha may have the relief of meeting teammate Gianni Grippo in the semifinals.

Lightweight

Most probable final: Lucas Lepri vs. JT Torres

Reigning champion Lepri should meet newcomer Michael Liera Jr. or Gabriel Rollo in one semifinal while JT should make the other semifinal with Michael Langhi.

Middleweight

Most probable final: Otavio Sousa vs. Victor Estima

Otavio has a relatively less bumpier way to the final, possibly meeting known rival Vitor Oliveira in the semifinal, or newcomer Jonathan Satava. On the other side, Estima and Calasans Jr. should clash for the other spot in the final.

Medium-heavyweight

Most probable final: Gustavo Campos vs. Leandro Lo

Leandro Lo’s decision to move up to medium-heavy apparently made Atos decide that Keenan Cornelius needed to also move up, competing in the heavyweight division. Even without his teammate, Guto Campos is still a favorite for the final. Lo has proven before that he has all the tools to make it all the way in any division he decides to compete.

Heavyweight

Most probable final: Alexandre Ribeiro vs. Keenan Cornelius

It’s probably the most difficult division of all to predict the final. Xande and Jackson Sousa are the favorites on one side. Keenan, Lucas Leite and Tim Spriggs will fight for the other spot in the final.

Super-heavyweight

Most probable final: Bernardo Faria vs. Yuri Simões

Faria should have some relative smooth sailing on his side of the bracket. Yuri and newcomer Erberth Santos should battle for the other spot.

Ultra-heavyweight

Most probable final: Marcus Buchecha vs. Alex Trans

Buchecha should not have a lot of trouble here. On the other side, Trans and Leo Nogueira will fight for the spot to fight the reigning champion.

55kg: Mackenzie Dern vs. Michelle Nicolini

Female adult

Light-featherweight

Most probable final: Gezary Matuda vs. Laurence Cousin

Featherweight

Most probable final: Mackenzie Dern vs. Michelle Nicolini

Most probable final: Beatriz Mesquita vs. Angelica Galvão
