Day 1 of the 2015 Pan featured competitors of three different belts.
It started early in the morning with white belts, many of each were in their first tournament ever.
The blue belts came later and also put on a great show for the crowd who filled the stands of the Bren Events Center, in Irvine, California.
The purple belts closed the day with their desire to prove that they are serious about Jiu-Jitsu.
The open class divisions for both blue and purple belts take place this Friday.
