Nobody quite knew what to expect from UFC 194’s main event. Oddsmakers and fans seemed to think that Conor McGregor had the edge. Then again, plenty of supporters backed Jose Aldo and his decade-long undefeated streak. McGregor spent the entire buildup to UFC 194 mocking his opponent, telling Aldo that he was unprepared and outmatched.
Well, it turns out that McGregor was 100% correct. Conor McGregor KO’s Jose Aldo in seconds…11 seconds to be exact. Aldo threw a punch that McGregor stepped back on before the Irishman responded with his own blow. At that point, McGregor knocked out Aldo with that one punch, even though Aldo did connect on his way down. The ref called the match as soon as Aldo went down.
